The oldest of the two daughters from the late Claire and Troy Saxs. Grace always possessed the innate ability to be responsible. After the death of her mother, Grace’s younger sister Goldie’s, rebellious streak continued to wreak havoc on the Saxs family forcing Grace to assume the mother responsibility. Soon, Grace’s father Troy fell ill and had to be bed ridden. Grace and Goldie both took after school jobs to pull the weight. Grace discovered her passion for Mexican cuisine, working as a waitress at Alfredo’s the local Tex-Mex joint. There, Grace also met her first love who taught her the authentic way of cooking Mexican food. Things took a turn for the worse when Grace’s forbidden love was discovered by her perverted, greedy manager Alfredo. Grace’s love was deported back to Mexico. A heart-broken Grace vowed to never give her heart away again. Years later, after graduating from college, Grace broke her sworn vow and married Las Vegas newcomer, George Humble. A year later Grace opened Cocina De Soul secretly still honoring her vow locking her heart deep within the walls of Cocina De Soul.
